1. Introduction

1.1 These Virtual Card Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the "Virtual Card T&Cs") govern the issuance and use of Virtual Cards issued by AMEX (Middle East) B.S.C. (c) ("AEME", “our”, or “we”) and the card member who accepts these Virtual Card T&Cs (“you” or “Cardmember”). Cardmembers should review these Virtual Card T&Cs thoroughly to understand their rights and obligations related to the usage of the Virtual Card. These Virtual Card T&Cs must be read in conjunction with the Cardmember Agreement and all other terms and conditions that are available on our website. Any term used in this Virtual Card T&Cs document, but not expressly defined herein, shall have the meaning given to it in the Cardmember Agreement (available on our website). In the event of any contradiction between these Virtual Card T&Cs, the Cardmember Agreement, or the Schedule of Fees and Charges, these Virtual Card T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.  

2. Definitions

2.1 A "Virtual Card" is a unique American Express® Card number issued under your Account. Unlike physical cards, Virtual Cards do not have a tangible counterpart but are linked to a Card number. Multiple Virtual Cards may be associated with a single Account. 

2.2 References to "Card" or "American Express® Card" in the Cardmember Agreement include Virtual Cards.

3. Issuance and Usage

3.1 To obtain a Virtual Card, you must establish a user profile through the Amex MENA mobile application or online services provided by AEME. 

3.2 Virtual Cards can be requested through Amex MENA mobile application. 

3.3 You are responsible for applying Transaction limits and managing Virtual Cards through the Virtual Card settings available via Amex MENA mobile application. 

3.4 Virtual Cards will be delivered electronically. You must ensure the confidentiality and security of your login credentials and Virtual Card details.

4. Fees and Charges

4.1 All fees and charges applicable to Card Transactions, as detailed in your Cardmember Agreement and the Schedule of Fees and Charges, apply to Transactions made using the Virtual Card.

5. Virtual Card Management

5.1 Access to the Virtual Card will be granted, as soon as you complete the Virtual Card set up. Your use of the Virtual Card will be governed by these Virtual Card T&Cs and the applicable Cardmember Agreement. 

This Card is issued by AMEX (Middle East) B.S.C. (c) pursuant to a license from American Express.
